UTAH TAKEOVER – 2025 – TheGoodLife!

Starting the year off fresh, on a mountain top somewhere in the world, has been a long standing New Year’s tradition for TheGoodlife!

So why not invite your friends to join in on the festivities and to enjoy the “Greatest Snow on Earth”, and that place is Powder Mountain in Utah.

This year we did things a bit different as we felt the importance of giving back and supporting the next generation of shredders. We partnered up with our good friends at FICE Gallery in SLC with the mission to raise funds with our Skyscrapers” Photography Exhibition benefiting the Hoods to Woods Foundation.

We curated an All-Star Lineup of some of the top photographers in both the outdoor world as well as the street photography circuit and it was incredible!

This show was printed by Fine Print NYC and was supported by Kona Big Wave, Oakley + Skullcandy.

Our week was just getting started as we followed up with a super intimate slideshow presentation at UMOCA with a dynamic duo comprised of skateboard + snowboard photography legends Atiba Jefferson + the snow god Dean “Blotto” Gray. The evening was filled with some of the best storytelling and antics that kept the crowd entertained all night long as they went back to back showing their collective history of documenting some of the best to ever do it on boards and beyond!

Next up was our New Year’s celebration at The Pearl which felt more like the best house party you’ve ever been to! Especially since we filled the spot up with all of our friends and fam that were in SLC so the vibes were on 1,000!

But all the fun we had didn’t stop us from rallying up to Powder Mountain first thing in the AM to enjoy all the fresh snow that kept rolling in for the duration of our time out there.

It truly was a Winter Wonderland and we felt like we had the mountain all to ourselves with zero lift lines and nothing but untouched terrain wherever we decided to explore.

We took endless laps until our legs and bodies were in much need of some delicious bites and frosty brews at the Powder Keg.

When our friend at Powder heard we had a pretty heavy crew rolling with us they decided to throw us a rail jam and the locals pilled up to show us how it’s done!

The snow didn’t stop falling but that didn’t stop us from throwing an epic party in the park with sounds by DJ Matty Mo and a super special guest performance by Dashawn Jordan!

Every day felt like a reward and on our final day we even got the ultimate gift when we got a call that the new Paradise Chair was opening and we were lucky to get first chair and first tracks on the most magical wide open runs.
