MERU

We are excited to share a project of epic proportions by our friend and TGL! familia member Jimmy Chin with the official trailer for his new film Meru. While we all talk about life and death, Jimmy and fellow master climbers Conrad Anker and Renan Ozturk live on the absolute edge between the two on a regular basis and came as close to the other side as humanly possible during their 2011 ascent of the Shark’s Fin on Mount Meru in India. A feat that had never been accomplished in recorded history, and one that the three had come tantalizingly close to in 2008 before they were forced to abandon just 100 meters short of the summit due to weather, the story and the amazing documentary that captures it can only be described as mind blowing. What’s a guy like Jimmy doing when he’s not risking life and limb for the sake of exploration and adventure? You know he’s in NYC playing bones with TheGoodLife!
